Winter coat swap scheme

Do you have an unwanted coat that needs a new home and could keep someone warm this winter?

United in Kind is working in partnership with Dunmow and Saffron Walden libraries to host a coat swap this winter.

If you’d like to donate or donate and swap a coat (adults and childrens’ coats), please follow these simple steps:

  • Bring your CLEAN (fully intact) coat on a hanger
  • Place it on the coat rail
  • If you’re swapping, take a coat
  • Spread the word

Please be aware this rail will only be available during the opening times of the participating libraries.

This service is free of charge and is part of Uttlesford’s winter warmth initiative.

The initiative continues until 31 March 2020.
