West Essex receive CCG of the Year award

Congratulations to our Finance team for receiving the CCG of the Year award at the 2019 London VAT Conference recently.

To win this accolade, the team had to meet several criteria. This included all the points for demonstrating evidence of reasonable care:

• Taking advice in writing
• Third party checking of records
• Training and procedures
• No repeating errors
• Maximising VAT opportunities where possible
• Having little or no risk

The team was nominated by Joe our manager from the Liaison Financial Group.

Sue Dikmen, Financial Control Manager, was presented with a certificate of achievement (pictured) in front of a huge audience of NHS colleagues.

After finding out they had been successful, Sue said: “Thanks to all the team for attending training to keep their knowledge up-to-date, and being vigilant.”
