West Essex IT switchover to HBL ICT

As mentioned by Beverley Flowers at this week’s all staff briefing, please see further information below about our IT switchover to HBL ICT.

As part of the ICS transition, the IT provider for West Essex CCG will transfer from Arden and GEM to HBL ICT on 1 April 2022.

The IT switchover will be led by a dedicated team of HBL ICT staff, who will be based at Spencer Close while this work takes place.

This will include getting a new laptop. The deadline for the IT switchover is 1 April 2022.

What happens next?

We will invite you to book an appointment in the coming weeks to come to Spencer Close and pick up a new laptop. A team of HBL ICT staff will set up your new laptop while you are there. We will get back in touch when the booking system is ready. We are still finalising details of the switchover, so please bear with us.

We know you may have some questions about the switchover, for example… ‘can I start using my laptop straight away?’ or ‘what do I do with my old laptop?’. We will share answers to all these kinds of questions in due course.

Look out for an email inviting you to book an appointment to collect your new laptop in the coming weeks.
