Welcoming Wendy Bailey
Wendy is new Programme Manager for Health Inequalities…
Wendy Bailey has joined the team as the new Programme Manager for Health Inequalities.
Having worked in health, social care and education since 1992, Wendy’s roles have included within local government, further and higher education and the voluntary sector.
Wendy lives in Chelmsford and has most recently been at Better Start Southend running a health improvement programme for pregnant women and children aged up to three.
She has recently returned from overseas to visit her daughter having been separated from her as so many families have been by the COVID pandemic.
Outside of work Wendy, who has a professional qualification in Community and Youth Work with Applied Anthropology, likes gardening and grows her own vegetables, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
“I am really looking forward to working with and alongside the communities of west Essex,” adds Wendy.
