Virtual Time to Learn hailed a success!
We held our very first virtual Time to Learn session this week! Despite the pandemic limiting us from meeting face to face, the demand for it and attendance was really excellent. To all those who attended we would like to pass on our sincere thanks.
We had six different sessions running all at once – ‘Nurse’, ‘GP’, ‘Practice Manager’, ‘Repeating Prescribing’ and ‘Safeguarding’ Time to Learns. Thanks to Microsoft Teams we were able to think outside of the box on ways to be interactive; we had great slideshow presentations from our various speakers and a very active live chat function.
The main GP Time to Learn event was introduced by our Chair, Dr Rob Gerlis, and our Accountable Officer, Dr Jane Halpin. We also had the invaluable opportunity to hear from a patient who had the coronavirus, this was very insightful and the patient was highly praised for sharing, by many attendees.
We are pleased to know the events were a success and that those that attended enjoyed and would attend a similar event again. Our feedback so far has shown that attendees found the sessions generally helpful. If you did attend and haven’t done so already, please fill out the necessary feedback forms. If you have not received these yet, please email the communications team.
