Sunday is World Mental Health Day

Make time to look after yourself as well as others…

The subject of mental health and how important it is to look after our own, is very much at the top of the agenda as we all continue to adapt to life after the pandemic.

With World Mental Health Day taking place on Sunday 10 October, this is a good opportunity to look at ways we can support ourselves, and others, as well as considering our own attitudes to it.

Among the aspects to consider on World Mental Health Day are:

  • What is mental health?
  • What are mental health problems
  • What is good mental health?

Please also take the time, if you can, to take part in our mental health survey, which is completely anonymous and helps us understand if staff feel safe to be open and honest about their feelings.

We would still very much like to hear your thoughts, so please do take our short mental health survey before it closes this Friday (8 October).

Remember, if you’re finding things a bit tough or struggling to cope, you can talk to one of our six fully qualified Mental Health First Aiders within the CCG who are on hand to help.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to speak to somebody you don’t know, call the Here For You confidential helpline – available 24/7 – on 0344 257 3960.
