Here’s a summary of what was covered in today’s staff briefing…

General update

  • Regional office outcome of staff antibody testing  revealed 10-33% of staff had COVID-19
  • At the last Integrated Care Partnership meeting, the next stages in the ICP was discussed
  • Princess Alexandra Hospital’s new hospital is scheduled for 2025
  • There were discussions around where the existing mental health services will be best placed

Local update

  • Antibody testing is hoping to go live today
  • Front line staff to be tested first followed by CCG staff
  • CCG staff will be able to book a test at Epping, St Margaret’s Hospital
  • There is also going to be a roll-out of antibody testing in care homes with NHS support
  • Winter pressures – Flu testing will be offered to anyone over 50
  • New ways of working – Please ensure you have completed the home risk assessment with your line manager as soon as possible.
  • We’re continuing to review the building and clutter around the office to see what needs to be cleared
  • Staff Partnership Group – Calling for new members, please email the communications inbox if you’d like to join.

    Apologies that I was not able to attend the briefing due to work capacity. I have noticed the last bullet point states:
    “There were discussions around where the existing mental health services will be best placed”
    Are you able to expand and provide more comprehensive details as I am conscious no Mental Health commissioners were on the call.
