Spread the word – COVID jabs open to people aged 38 and over

Walk in jabs available to over 40s in west Essex…

COVID-19 vaccinations are now being offered to people aged 38 and 39. In addition, for this week only, people aged over 40 can drop-in to any large vaccination centre in west Essex to have their first dose, without the need to make an appointment.

The large vaccination sites in west Essex are Harlow Leisurezone and Murray Hall in Loughton. You can find vaccination centre opening times on the ICS Healthier Future website. Walk in vaccinations will be available until Sunday 16 May only.

As of yesterday (12 May), people aged 38 and 39 can also book an appointment to have their jab. They can book directly on the online National Booking System or dial 119. Bookings can be made at a range of vaccination sites which will be offering vaccines suitable for their age group. If there isn’t a convenient appointment showing straight away, please check back later as new slots are added all the time.
