Skype for Business

As part of the continuing work to improve, streamline and transform our systems we will soon be getting an instant messaging system, Skype for Business.

What does this mean for you?

There are many benefits which include:

• Ability to view colleagues availability
• Send instant messages across NHS mail organisations and federated organisations
• Increased collaboration across teams and organisations – desktop and application sharing
• Ability to schedule meetings

The team are also working with our IT provider to set up a video conferencing facility using Skype for Business.
