June is SANDS (Stillbirth and neonatal death charity) awareness month, helping to raise awareness of the facts and impacts relating to neonatal deaths and stillbirths.

Volunteer

Become a SANDS Befriender

SANDS Befrienders are peer support volunteers from across the UK who offer bereavement support and information to anyone affected by the death of a baby. Befrienders have personal experience of seeking support following the death of a baby, giving them valuable insight into how other bereaved people might be feeling.

Every Befriender receives full training and support so feel fully prepared for the role.
