Remembrance Sunday – we will remember them

Every year on Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday, we remember, honour and pay tribute to all members of the armed forces who lost their lives during conflict to defend and protect our way of life.

Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown, you won’t be able to take part in the usual way by attending ceremonies and all sorts of commemorative events.

Despite the changes this year, you can still mark Remembrance Sunday appropriately by taking part in remote and socially distanced Remembrance activities, whether it’s watching the service on TV or pausing for the Two Minute Silence (on Wednesday 11 November) in your home or on your doorsteps to reflect and remember the fallen.
