Refreshed e-appraisal process and relaxation of requirements

Online appraisal window now open and available to record on ESR…

Our HR and ODL team has decided to relax the appraisal deadline, as many colleagues are busy supporting the CCG’s response to Covid-19.

They hope this will enable everyone to complete the appraisal process and be able to participate without the pressure of time.

To make this process easier and to support paperless, remote working, you can record appraisals on ESR. This will help the HR and ODL team access real time data and development needs, such as training, for when we begin to return to business as usual.

Thank you to everyone who gave feedback on the mid-year appraisal experience. It has helped shape the full appraisal document for April 2020. A big thank you to the working group that has test driven the process and helped to fine-tune it. Feedback suggests the process works best when the appraisee initiates the appraisal on ESR. As it’s a live document is can be updated as many times as required.
