Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust – CQC rating

It was announced today that our local acute trust, Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust has been rated as ‘requires improvement’.

This is the same as when it was previously inspected in March 2018. However, there has been significant improvement across a number of areas, in particular children’s and young people which was rated as outstanding for caring.

They have also increased their overall good ratings from three to five within the service areas.

Below is the note that Lance McCarthy sent to all staff within the trust yesterday, as well as the public announcement.
