Practice – Time to Learn

Formerly known as GP Shutdown, the next ‘Practice – Time to Learn’ session is taking place on Tuesday 4 June.

The name change has happened to encourage all staff within our member practices to attend and the content has been devised with that in mind.  At this event all attendees will be in the same room, although future ones may see them in separate rooms depending on the content and speakers.

The attached Agenda 4 June, which is focused on diabetes is aimed at practice managers, GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.  There will also be an exhibition area for attendees where we have seven organisations, all working in the field of diabetes there to talk to them and raise awareness of their work and how it can help them.

There is also a CCG stand, with key information about us, and our work.  Anyone wanting to let GPs know anything, as well as using our fortnightly GP newsletter is more than welcome to put something on this stand – just get in touch with the Communications team.

Alongside this session there are two other sessions running, one for the new Primary Care Network clinical leads and one for prescription clerks and reception teams.

As previously mentioned on AskHUE,  Beverly Hayward is leading the steering group for content so anyone with a request for a future session just needs to get in touch with her.
