Our FM helpdesk number is changing soon

From Monday 26 August, the number you call to report an emergency or urgent facilities management issue is changing…

If you need to contact the FM Helpdesk to report an urgent issue impacting your building, please call 0844 225 2774. This is available to you 24/7, 365 days of the year.

NHS Property Services is switching to this number to improve their telephony network resilience. It will also support their business continuity, to ensure they provide a consistent, high quality service to all.

Urgent request examples:

  • An alarm sounding
  • Major leak or flood at site
  • Building access
  • Trip and electrical hazards
  • No water or heating in the building
  • Smell of gas
  • Power failure

Reporting non-urgent / routine jobs

You must submit all non-urgent FM requests and faults using the online form. The Helpdesk team will process your request within 24 hours (if not sooner). Once processed, you will receive an email notification with the job number and expected completion time.

Non-urgent request examples:

  • A light not working
  • Dripping tap
  • Single toilet blocked or not flushing (where other toilets available)
  • Faulty or loose door handles
  • Minor fabric works
  • Upgrades to decoration/asset
