Organisational changes to Stellar Healthcare
An update from Debbie Bodhanya…
I’m writing to inform you of the organisational changes we’ve made to Stellar Healthcare, which will align us to the emerging health and care landscape.
With Primary Care Networks (PCNs) being the focus of attention, and integrated care services a priority, we think it’s important we adapt our team to ensure our sustainability going forward.
With this in mind, I’ve decided to take a more prominent role in the PCNs, which will allow me to be more involved in its development.
It’s my pleasure, therefore, to hand over the leadership of Stellar Healthcare to Renier van Zyl, who is now the new Chief Operating Officer of the organisation. As you will be aware, Renier has been involved with Stellar since we started and has been instrumental in our business development and building primary care infrastructure over the last few years.
I’m sure you will agree Renier’s experience and knowledge will help Stellar grow as it continues to deliver excellent primary care services.
I will still be involved with Stellar and have taken up the position of Chair of the Stellar Board. In addition:
- Hugh Taylor is now Medical Director
- Anna Beeston is the Director of Quality and Clinical Effectiveness
- Amelia Palas-Smith takes the lead for the CRS contract
- Nadia Savage is still the contract lead for the GP front door and PCNs
- Vicki White is delivering Stellar Healthcare Training Network (SHEN). She is also managing Clinical Pharmacists and Social Prescribers.
We look forward to building on our relationship with the CCG as we continue to support primary care development in west Essex.
