NHS Staff Survey 2020: reminder to provide your feedback
You’ve got until this Friday (27 November) before the staff survey closes for another year.
Thank you to the 69 per cent of you who’ve already taken the time to complete the survey to tell us your views.
If you’ve not done yours yet, you should be receiving regular reminder emails from Picker, which contain the link to the survey. They will show up in your inbox from ‘NHS Staff Survey 2020’.
Please check your Junk folder in Outlook, as some emails appear to be going there instead. If you haven’t received it yet, please get in touch with Agnes Annan, our HR Business Partner.
Your views really do matter, so let us know about your experience of working here at the CCG. You also have the opportunity to provide comments on what it’s been like working through the pandemic. This will help us understand the impact it has had on you personally.
Whether it’s good or bad, we can’t change or make improvements if you don’t tell us.
Last year, a record 85 per cent of you took the time to give your views. As a result, we’ve been able to make changes in a number of areas. Here are just some of the things we’ve introduced to support you:
- Made ‘stamp out bullying and harassment’ training mandatory for all staff
- Offered more opportunities for individuals to join staff forums to share good practice and have a voice, for example:
- our Staff Partnership Group
- our new Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff network
- Recruited two new Freedom to Speak Up Champions who will shortly undergo training to give them the skills they need to be an effective voice for staff
- Started to recruit mental health first aiders to support staff, as part of the organisation’s Time to Change commitment to changing attitudes towards mental health in the workplace
- Developed a Health and wellbeing support page on AskHUE
- Appointed a new Employee Assistance Programme provider, Vita Health Group, to continue to offer personal and professional confidential advice and emotional support
- Developed MindTools and its wealth of resources
- Implemented risk assessments for home working / new home working policy / flexible working policy to support you through the COVID restrictions
