New ways of working – return to office survey
Complete the survey and let us know your views on returning to work in Spencer Close…
As lockdown restrictions begin to ease, the Senior Management Team is thinking about how we can open up Spencer Close to more people who want to come into the office to work.
We know some of you have been coming into the office occasionally, and some regularly, throughout the pandemic, either to connect with colleagues face-to-face or to maybe just get a welcome change of scenery.
We’re expecting the current social distancing and face coverings guidance to remain in place for a good while yet and until at least 21 June. It’s not the case that Spencer Close will suddenly become as busy and bustling as it once was, but we want to make sure that anyone who wants to come in feels safe and welcome. We’ve already made the office environment COVID-secure, and thank you to everyone who has been following those rules so diligently and keeping us safe.
A mix of home and office working is inevitable, not least of all because buildings 2 and 3 are expected to remain in use as a vaccination centre for at least the remainder of this year, leaving us with only limited desk space.
To help us understand how this might work in practice, we would be grateful if you could spare five minutes to complete an anonymous survey. Herts Valleys CCG and East and North Herts CCG are also carrying out similar surveys with their colleagues, so we can get a picture of how everyone is feeling across the ICS to understand and address any worries or concerns you might have.
Your views are really important, so please complete the survey as soon as possible, and by the deadline of 5pm on Friday 28 May.
There are various points in the survey where you can type in longer comments, so please do use this opportunity to tell us how you feel. While it’s very helpful for us to understand individual circumstances, please don’t write any personal details about yourself as this is an anonymous survey.
