New arrangements for staff comms

Discover plans for how we’ll communicate with staff across the ICB from the new year…

With the changes from CCG to Integrated Care Board (ICB) coming along soon, and the arrival of a new calendar year, the three CCGs are together shifting the balance of our staff communications from 1 January 2022. This means that, whichever CCG you work in, you will receive the same communications at the same time.

After our next scheduled ICB all staff briefing on Tuesday 11 January at 2pm (you can already find a hold for this in your diaries), we will also be upping their frequency to every fortnight, with a written ICB bulletin every week.

We are working up the details for the fortnightly virtual briefings now and you will receive meeting invitations into your inboxes soon. We will be asking everyone to participate – whether by way of offering a short ‘pop-up’ slot at a briefing or sending us content for the bulletin. Look out for more information on that in due course.

We know that people will want to have plenty of opportunities to ask questions around the transition and talk through issues, so each Managing Director is planning to hold ‘drop-in’ sessions for staff to have a chat in the coming weeks. Look out for more info on that soon too.

We hope these new arrangements will allow us all to get a stronger feel for the ICB ahead of it becoming a statutory body and provide opportunities to get to know new colleagues.
