Minor injuries unit at Cheshunt Community Hospital is under new management

The Minor Injuries Unit at Cheshunt Community Hospital in Hertfordshire is being run by a new partnership of local health organisations.

The service is open 8am to 8pm every day of the year and may be of help to patients living on the Essex/Herts border.

Experienced nurses can treat adults and children (over the age of 12 months old) who have a wide range of minor injuries, including:

  • Suspected fractured (broken) bones
  • Muscle and joint injuries (sprains and strains)
  • Cuts, burns and scalds
  • Bites and stings

There is an x-ray on site for diagnosing potential fractures.
