Microsoft Teams training sessions available
Next week, we kick off a series of bite-sized online training sessions on a range of Microsoft Teams related topics.
You are probably already using Teams to chat, meet and collaborate, as well as share documents and files. Teams is a great way for us all to keep in touch and stay connected, especially as most of us continue to work from home.
You can choose to join one of three different workshops depending on your level of knowledge – details below.
Introduction to Teams – communicating with colleagues
- Wednesday 29 July, 9am to 9.45am
- Tuesday 11 August, 10am to 10.45am
If you’re new to Teams, this session will walk you through the basics and get you started, such as:
- signing in to your account
- checking your audio and video settings
- creating group chats
- making calls
- scheduling and setting up a meeting
- joining a meeting
- using the meeting chat box – if you want to comment or ask a question
- raising your hand – so you can contribute to the discussion

To book your place, email the Communications team with the date of the session you would like to attend. You will receive an email to confirm your booking followed by a meeting invitation.
