It’s the British Lung Foundation’s #LoveYourLungsWeek!

Let’s encourage people to love their lungs and raise awareness of lung conditions this June…

This week (17 to 23 June) is Love Your Lungs Week.

The British Lung Foundation (BLF) is spreading the word that being short of breath could be a sign of an underlying health problem.

Feeling short of breath from time to time is healthy and normal, but sometimes it can be a sign of something more serious.

The BLF want you, your friends and family to take their online breath test. You will answer a series of questions designed to help you decide if your symptoms require a trip to your GP.

Breathlessness affects 10% of the UK population. It can be a symptom of a lung condition. If you’re worried about breathlessness take the BLF’s breath test this #LoveYourLungsWeek and find out if you should get it checked out.

Over half a million people have taken the test and many have been diagnosed for the first time.

10,000 people get a new diagnosis of lung disease every week. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical. Many people with lung disease remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for years. While some people only learn of their condition when it’s too late for effective treatment.
