IT switchover to HBL ICT – book your appointment
As you may be aware, our IT services will transfer from Arden and GEM to HBL ICT on 28 March 2022, ready for the 1 April deadline. As part of the ICS transition, all staff will switchover to the new IT provider, to ensure there is a consistent and common service being provided across the organisation.
As part of the IT switchover all staff will receive a new laptop. We will ensure all current COVID guidelines are followed and that we support you (whatever your current circumstances).
What does this mean for me?
We now invite you to contact the IT switchover team at HBL ICT to book an appointment to come and pick up your new laptop from Spencer Close, Epping, and discuss your needs. The dates and times available are as follows. Sessions run Monday to Friday and there are a limited number of time slots available per hour on each day.
Dates: Monday 7 March to Friday 25 March 2022
Time slots: 9am | 10am | 11am | 1pm | 2pm | 3pm
Location: Board Room, Building 4, Spencer Close, CM16 6TN
What do I need to do?
- Book your 1-hour appointment slot by emailing your name and full contact details, choice of appointment date and time to enhertsccg.hblictwestessexmigration@nhs.net
- Confirmation of your appointment will be sent to you via calendar invite. If your chosen date and time slot are full, an HBL ICT team member will contact you via email or phone to reschedule your appointment.
- Should you be unable to attend the agreed appointment for any reason, please notify the HBL ICT switchover team as soon as possible. Make sure you include your full contact details so a team member can contact you to rearrange the appointment.
- There will be a few things you will need to do before you come in to pick up your new laptop and bring with you to your appointment. Make sure you bring with you:
- your current laptop and your current laptop login credentials
- your current work phone (if applicable)
- your NHSmail password and your passwords for Google and/or Apple ID (if applicable)
- your passwords for any shared mailboxes you have access to
- a note (or list) of any specific special software or applications you use as part of your job
- you have no files saved locally (on the C: drive or desktop) of your laptop. Files on your P drive will be transferred over automatically.
