Integrated Care System senior appointment update

We are delighted to confirm that Simone Surgenor, Head of Legal and Governance at West Essex CCG, will be taking up the position of Associate Director of Integrated Governance and Organisational Alignment from Tuesday 1 December. This is a vital role within the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System (ICS) to help to align the structure of our three CCGs and further develop our ICS.

Simone is a qualified solicitor with a wealth of experience. Although Simone had been intending to move to pastures new, we are delighted she has chosen to remain with us, taking on this exciting new role within the transition structure. She has agreed to take up this role as a secondment for an initial 18 months starting 1 December 2020.

Many of you may already know Simone as she has been part of the team at West Essex CCG since 2014. Simone has been instrumental in supporting West Essex CCG as part of both the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership, and the transition towards our ICS.

We look forward to confirming further positions to the ICS team in the near future.
