Dear colleagues

It is with a heavy heart that we have to tell you that our dear friend and colleague Julie Kropacz, Head of Quality, Improvement and Transformation, sadly passed away at the end of last week. She had very recently been diagnosed with cancer and had been undergoing a number of investigations.

After being with HUC since its formation, it’s impossible to describe how sadly she will be missed and her passing leaves a huge gap. Julie was well known to many of our commissioner colleagues and other stakeholders and we know you share our pain of losing her. We will honour her memory and share an online book of remembrance with you for anyone who would like to contribute.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to her husband Mark and daughter Phoebe at this very difficult time.
