How are you coping with lockdown?

During these strange times, when we’re working from home and doing our best to stick to the social distancing rules, it’s more important than ever to make sure we stay connected.

We heard from Naomi Hunt during this week’s staff briefing on Tuesday. Naomi kindly shared how she makes sure she maintains her work/life balance by scheduling a call with her sister after work every day.

She also makes sure she clears away her work things at the end of each day, as she works from her dining room table. This means she can switch off from work and not be tempted to check or respond to enquiries when her working day is finished.

We’d love to hear from you and how you juggle your day, cope with lockdown and anything you do to stay connected with friends, family and colleagues. We can share these on the staff briefings and through AskHUE. Just drop the Comms team an email or post your comment below.

Top tip: set your working day boundaries

What time will you start work, finish work and have your breaks? Clear away your work things if you work in a communal area, so you can separate work from home life. Finally, why not schedule a call with a friend or family at the end of the day?
