Have your say in this year’s annual NHS Staff Survey

The 2021 survey will hit your inboxes on Monday…

It has been another challenging year for everyone, professionally and personally, as we all continued to adapt to the changes and uncertainty COVID sent our way. As we settle into a new rhythm it’s a good time to reflect and think about what has worked well in the last year and what could be improved.

The NHS Staff Survey is the ideal way to share your thoughts, completely anonymously, so the CCG knows what it needs to do to support you.

This year’s national staff survey runs from Monday 27 September to Friday 26 November 2021. This is your chance to have your say about your experiences of working here at the CCG over the last year… the good, the bad and the ugly!

What you say matters. Last year, we had a great response to survey with 81% of you taking time out to give us your views. Our completion rate was among the highest in the east of England, so let’s make it even higher this time.

Here are just some of the things we’ve put in place over the past year to support you:

  • Recruited and trained six Mental Health First Aiders, to support you and signpost you to appropriate help if required
  • Introduced fortnightly mid-week mindfulness sessions
  • Recruited Freedom to Speak Up Champions, who will shortly conclude their training to give them the skills they need to be an effective voice for staff
  • Introduced regular lunch and learn sessions with a specific focus on health and wellbeing
  • Offered more opportunities for you to join a range of staff support webinars, and one-to-one help, through the Here For You programme
  • Held three virtual family quiz nights to give you the chance to connect and socialise with colleagues

Picker, an independent research charity, is managing the survey. Look out for your email from Monday. It will contain your unique link to the survey for you to complete. All survey responses are confidential.
