If you are considering developing your career as a future NHS leader, there is support and training available on the Graduate Management Scheme.

This is not just for new graduates – existing members of staff can also apply and the experience brought with them is vital as the NHS develops a diverse pool of talent to meet the needs of a diverse population.

In turn, the scheme offers support and training to help develop skills, experience and confidence to achieve your leadership potential which could ultimately lead to senior board level roles.

Applications are now being taken for the next intake starting in September 2022.

The six specialisms offered on the scheme are:

• general management
• finance
• human resources
• health analysis
• health informatics
• policy and strategy management.

The terms of your existing contract will be protected, as current NHS employees and any long-term ties with certain areas will be considered as part of the offer process.
