Flu jab clinic taking place at Spencer Close
Get your flu vaccination on Tuesday 2 November…
Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in getting the flu vaccine.
We can now confirm we will be holding a flu clinic at Spencer Close, Epping next Tuesday (2 November 2021) between 11am and 1.30pm.
Two nurses from Princess Alexandra Hospital will carry out the vaccinations in the Board Room in Building 4. Please remember to bring your NHS number and ID. You can also bring, and wear, a face covering if you wish.
If you are aged 65 and over and wish to have your flu jab at Spencer Close, please note the jabs for this age group are egg based. If you have an egg allergy or cannot have an egg-based vaccine, please speak to your GP about an alternative.
If you’ve already specified your preferred time slot in our recent short survey, we’ll confirm your appointment time early next week.
If you are no longer able to attend the clinic on Tuesday 2 November, please inform the Comms team.
For more information on the flu vaccine, visit the NHS website.
Should face coverings not be mandatory? If you are receiving a vaccination the board room then becomes a health setting by default.
Thank you for your comment. We will ask staff who are attending the flu clinic to bring, and wear, a face covering. Face masks will also be available on Reception.
