Farewell and thank you West Essex CCG

West Essex colleagues got their chance to celebrate its achievements with a get together in the grounds of Spencer Close.

Colleagues enjoyed a buffet, which many also contributed to, drinks and speeches including a look back at key moments in the nine years of the CCG.

Managing Director Peter Wightman, Head of Corporate Services Ian Tompkins and Chairman Rob Gerlis, who were among the speakers, then led everyone in a rousing rendition of Queen’s “We are the Champions” at the suggestion of Anurita Rohilla in tribute to the hard work of everyone over the years.

One of the highlights was a bespoke celebration cake kindly created by Lorna Woodcock, who works in Continuing Healthcare.
