Equality Impact Assessments training opportunity

Are you involved in preparing or approving Equality Impact Assessments?

If so, you have the opportunity to come along to one of four training sessions taking place throughout January. The first one kicks off on Monday, so hurry and book your place today!

Dates, times and locations are as follows:

• Monday 13 January 2020, 2pm to 4pm – Oak Room
• Tuesday 14 January 2020, 10am to 12noon – Board Room
• Monday 20 January 2020, 10am to 12noon – Board Room
• Friday 31 January 2020, 2pm to 4pm – Oak Room

Assessing the impact on patients of changes in the delivery of care…

No matter what the change is, whether it’s:

• introducing a new pathway
• closing or opening a GP practice
• decommissioning a service
• introducing restrictions on access to a service
• moving the provision of a service from secondary to primary care…

The CCG is obliged to ensure we understand the impact change will have on patients and their carers. In particular, on members of groups defined under Equalities legislation.
