Ensuring a safe return to the office
Following last week’s announcement at our staff briefing, the CCG has taken the decision to move to a mixture of home and office working. We are taking steps to safely re-open the office to all staff on Monday (20 September 2021).
It will be up to individual teams to decide if coming into the office to work is the best option and whether it adds any value. You may decide you’d like to use one of the meeting room spaces to come together as a team for collaboration and getting creative.
With this in mind, it’s important we all do our bit to ensure everyone is safe in the office through social distancing, regularly washing your hands and getting tested.
Due to the limited space in Building 4, we have launched a simple new online desk booking system called Ubook.
Ubook allows you to book a desk or meeting room at Spencer Close electronically. This booking system is easy to use and Alan Hicks will be running some training sessions on Ubook on the following dates:
- Tuesday 21 September, 3.30pm
- Thursday 23 September, 10am
Each session will last approx. half an hour. There will be a demo with time afterwards for any questions. We’ll send out calendar invites for the training in due course.
If you are unable to attend the training, we have two short step-by-step videos to help you get to grips with it:
- Ubook – register as a new user
- Ubook – book a resource (desk or meeting room)
You can also find all this information on the Book a desk or room page on AskHUE.
If you have any questions about Ubook, please contact Alan Hicks.
We have developed further Guidance for working in the office, so you know what to expect. There will also be signs on display around the building in case you need first aid or there’s a medical emergency.
Parking at Spencer Close
Please note you can no longer park behind (round the back of) Building 4, as it’s currently in use for the COVID vaccination centre (Buildings 2 and 3). You can still park at the front and side of the CCG buildings (as pictured below).
If the above car park is full, you can also use the car park on the left (see sign in picture below).
For any other concerns or queries email the Comms team.
