Easter eggstravaganza family quiz night a success

Find out who reigned supreme at last Thursday’s quiz…

The latest virtual family quiz once again proved to be an eggcellent night and huge amount of fun.

Seven teams, made up of staff, their families and friends, played along during eight rounds which covered a range of subjects including advertising, Essex, bridges and famous people.

Keeping everyone in check was quizmaster Rob Gerlis, with the able support of Peter Wightman on scoring duties.

During the interval, teams also tackled a bonus picture round where they had to identify nearly 30 different TV shows.

After an eggciting and entertaining evening, and closely fought contest, former champions Quaranteam, captained by Naomi Brooks emerged as the winning team.

Congratulations to Naomi and her team: Lara Segovia, Hemali Parekh, Christine Moss, Maggi Pacini, Sarah Crane and Shazia Mariam.

In second place were Lauren Oldershaw’s team, Smarty Pints, who just missed out on hopping into the top spot by three points.

And in third place were Universally Challenged 2: The Return of the Jabbed captained by Sue Massey.

• One Egg is Un Oeuf, led by Judy Hiscott
• Creasey Clan, led by Denise Creasey
