Decommissioning of Health help Now

Self-care app no longer available from end of August…

Over the last few years, Health help Now has been a useful and innovative tool for sign posting and sharing health information and advice to local people. In west Essex we viewed this as a fantastic first step to provide information to residents in a new way.

However, the technology has been superseded by new and emerging applications. With this in mind, we will be adopting new opportunities for patients that will allow people in Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford to access information, GP services and advice through enhanced ways. This includes Doctorlink and the NHS app.

From 31 August 2020, Health help Now will no longer be available for residents. The app and website will not be updated or available to download to new users with immediate effect.

We will provide more information on the new apps available over the coming weeks.
