Changes to ESR expiry notifications
ESR will now send you notifications of anything about to expire three months (90 days) before the due date, instead of four months.
These notifications apply to the following areas:
- Fixed term contracts
- Registrations / memberships
- Development reviews
- Mandatory training competencies
If you are a line manager, you will now receive expiry notifications on the first day of each month. These are:
- A ‘next month’ notification – this will show all staff with expiry dates in the following calendar month
For example, a notification sent on 1 June will list all staff with expiry dates in July – see image below:
- A ‘3 months’ notification – this will show all staff with expiry dates in three months’ time
For example, a notification sent on the 1 June will list all staff with expiry dates in September – see image below:
You can see expiry dates listed in the right-hand column under ‘End Date’.
Important note:
- Due to the change in frequency of the notifications, there is likely to be an increase in the number of rows included in the notifications you receive
- Notifications have a limit on the amount of details they can display. As a result, to ensure you can access all details, please use ESR BI reporting and Portlets alongside these notifications
- Short notice expiry notifications remain unchanged.
