Celebrating Carers Week!

This week (7-13 June) marks the start of Carers Week, an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlighting the challenges carers face and recognising the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

Caring can be a hugely rewarding experience but sometimes carers find it challenging to take care of their own wellbeing whilst caring. This week is also an opportunity to help people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

This year we are coming together to ‘Make Caring Visible and Valued’.

Get Involved

There are lots of different ways to get involved in Carers Week. From sharing information with a struggling friend, to holding a virtual information event. We all have a role to play to help get carers connected.
