Bye Andrew!

CCG colleagues waved goodbye to Andrew Geldard on Tuesday (30 June) on what was his last day as Interim Managing Director for West Essex CCG.

Andrew held his final all staff briefing where he was surprised with a presentation of all his favourite things by incoming Managing Director, Peter Wightman.

For those who have known Andrew the last few years will know he’s a keen fan of Blackburn Rovers Football Club, holidays and homemade cake. However, the pierced ear and punk music may have come as a surprise!

Andrew thanked all staff at the CCG for their hard work over the years. In particular, these last few months as we all adapted to new ways of working thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Andrew said: “I’ve really enjoyed working with everyone and will miss you all. Thank you.”
