Building closures and lock up at Spencer Close
What you need to know if you plan to work late.
Please be aware the porters lock up the buildings in Spencer Close at 8pm every night.
If you intend to work late, please leave the buildings by 7.45pm to avoid getting locked in.
It’s not always the porters who lock up the buildings, sometimes it’s security staff. So, you can’t rely on them walking round each building to check whether you are still working.
If you have a late meeting, please inform the porters so they leave the building unlocked.
