Bring, buy, or bake a cake to support animals affected by the fires in Australia
As many of you with friends or family over in Australia will be aware, it has been a terrible time for the country with the fires across New South Wales and Victoria.
Since September, blazes have killed at least 30 people, destroyed over 2,000 homes and burnt through 10 million hectares of land – an area almost the size of England.
Many animals have also died, or injured through smoke inhalation.
Come along on Tuesday 28 January to any kitchen and bring, bake or buy a cake to help support a great cause.
Jacquie Clements’ son Daniel and his girlfriend Jessica are flying out to Kangaroo Island for a month to volunteer.
The island has lost its economy, wildlife, thousands of animals perished and all the visitor centres have been destroyed.
To help they also raising money for the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Network fund and we are holding a bake sale to help them.
