Big Bandana Bake sale a success

Monday (and Tuesday!) saw the arrival of the Bandana Bake in west Essex to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Organiser, Sue Massey in the Adult Safeguarding team said: “Huge thanks to everyone for your incredible support with this event, especially those that baked and those that ate!

“We consumed more than 150 cakes over the two days and raised an amazing total of nearly £130.”

The money raised will go towards The Brain Tumour Charity’s work in:

• researching alternative treatments
• supporting individuals and their families who are living with a brain tumour.

“Hopefully, the Big Bandana Bake can become an annual event at west Essex,” added Sue.
