Antibody testing coming soon

All staff at the CCG will be able to register online for an antibody test from next week.

Appointments will be available from Monday 13 July, subject to the completion of tests for frontline staff who are taking priority.

Antibody testing detects whether you carry COVID-19 antibodies. It does not mean you are immune and it does not tell you that you cannot catch the virus again. Therefore, if your test is positive for antibodies, you must continue to follow Government guidance on social distancing and hand hygiene.

We will send you some more information next week with further details about how to book a test.

In the meantime, the test is being offered to all GP practice staff across west Essex and colleagues from EPUT who support our services in this area.
