Annual leave carry over reminder

Last week, we reminded you to use your annual leave, where possible, before the end of this financial year.

In summary:

  1. You should try to use up as much outstanding leave as you can before the end of the leave year – by agreement with your line manager

  2. You can carry over up to 10 days’ unused leave from this year into the next (April 2021 – 31 March 2022). However, we encourage you to take these 10 days off within the first six months of the new leave year

  3. It is not expected any CCG staff member, who has not been deployed into front-line duties, will be able to carry over more than 10 days into the new year. This will be considered in very exceptional cases and will have to be signed off by the managing director, Peter Wightman.
