Loggist training

Are you interested in becoming a ‘loggist’ for the CCG?

What is a loggist?

Did you know NHS funded organisations must have trained and competent loggists? They support the management of a major incident.

Loggists play an integral role in any incident management team.

Loggists are not minute takers. Their role is to only record actions as directed by the incident manager in what can be a charged and dynamic situation.

As a loggist, you are only required if an incident happens. You will also need to attend a half-day emergency exercise each year to maintain your skills. Being a loggist will not impact on your current role.

If you would like to become a loggist, please discuss with your line manager and express an interest to Jackie King.
