Dear Colleague

The first phase of the new phone system project has taken place and the new phones are now live. Your old handsets will be collected today, please can you unplug them and leave on your desk for collection. All of the direct dial extension numbers prefixing with a 6 will remain as is, some of you will have been allocated new extension numbers and these are ready for when we have the direct lines in phase 2 of the project. All meetings rooms will have both a phone and a conference phone which should not be removed from their allocated ports.

There are quick reference guides on all desks on how to use the new phones and links below. However if you haven’t already had training and would like to attend a session on Wednesday 3 April, please contact Gay Alford. The new phone list will be circulated shortly.

We anticipate phase 2 of the project will take place in approximately 6 week’s time, this will allow us to have all the direct lines in place and for the full functionality of the system to be up and running.

If you have any questions please contact Jolene Truman, Jolene.Truman@nhs.net or myself Alan.Hicks@nhs.net

Training sessions took place in late March early April.
